Is English Language Proficiency is a prerequisite for an admission?

As an applicant from a non-English language speaking country, a student requires to show the proof of English Language Proficiency. IELTS is not mandatory for all of the University / Institute. It depends on the University / Institute as well as the country you are applying for. As you are applying from a non-English speaking country, it is your responsibility to provide English proficiency documents like IELTS/PTE/ etc. where required.

What am I likely to earn if I take a part-time job while at University?

The opportunity for students to work part-time during their studies varies from country to country. Many universities help students by providing job opportunities on –campus. Student can get job related information from the University career service. As a student visa holder almost in all countries you are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during term time and 40 hours a week during holidays. However, while applying for your visa, you must show evidence of full financial support from other sources to cover university/institution tuition and living costs. Students are always advised not to depend on part time jobs for their living expenses. What opportunities are there for working and studying at the same time?

How important is it that I pay a deposit?

It is important that you pay a deposit to the institution as per the rules. Most Universities/Institutions require the students to pay part of the tuition fees in advance in order to reserve a place for them in the university. What is the ideal time to start my application process?

The admission process for any overseas university/ institution is lengthy. For Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Canada, Germany and Netherlands one should send the applications at least 3-4 months prior to the intake date. For Thailand, Malaysia one should send the applications at least 2-3 months prior to the intake date. If one starts the process as earlier as possible with his /her interest, chances of receiving admission as well as get priority for accommodation, bursaries and scholarships will be high.

What documents do I require to send to the university along with my application form?

You will need to send with your application form the following documents.
