Education System in the Netherlands
From the age of 5 to 16, the Netherlands government makes the time period compulsory for study.
From the age of 5 to 12, the Netherlands government count it as a primary period whereafter its secondary education start for the students.
At the age of 12 children go to one of the following types of secondary education.
- Preparatory Vocational Secondary Education (VMBO) which will cost 4 years as secondary education
- Senior General Secondary Education (HAVO) which will require 5 years to complete.
- University Preparatory Education (VWO) and it will take 6 years to complete.

Housing

Best Intakes to Apply to Netherlands Universities. The September intake is more popular among students and most institutions offer courses, which commence in September. There are two admission intakes; one in September and one in February. They are also known as the autumn and winter intake.
Netherland Scholarships
The Netherlands provides scholarships to Bangladeshi students but it defers from education level, study fields, and students with merit. In 2015, the Dutch government introduce the scholarship for an international student to attract them to the Netherlands who plan to do Bachelor’s or Master’s. The 5,000-euro scholarship will be rewarded to students in their first year to cover study costs. The specific scholarship selection criteria depend on the Dutch institution where the student is applying.
